Made in the USA, these perfect pick of summer wines are ideal for Memorial Day…and all summer long

To celebrate the start of summer, we rounded up some of the most refreshing reds, whites, rosés and sparkling wines. All work well for what’s planned, from family barbeques, fancy al-fresco dinners and lazy summer afternoons to raising a glass in remembrance of fallen soldiers whom we thank for our freedom. Obvious Wines may be the brainchild of a Frenchman, but the eco-friendly brand is California-based. The brand was featured on Shark Tank. In addition, the straightforward labels provide relevant info to make determining the best fit easy.

The name says it all. This central coast California Grenache and Syrah blend complements sipping in the sunshine.

Tank Garage Winery Too Much To Dream, $45

The Tank Garage vintners blend eight varieties that offer black fruit aromas with hints of milk chocolate and licorice, The soft tannins leave a deliciously memorable taste behind.

The Federalist Zinfandel Dry Creek, $22.99

All of the wines in The Federalist’s portfolio pay homage to our founding fathers and the Statue of Liberty. In the spirit of celebrating summer, stock up for Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day!

Dear Mom 2017 Sparkletown, $16 for 4 187ml cans

The brand, with a kitschy postcard on the bottle, was created with a nod to the women who nurtured us and shares a portion of proceeds with local and global organizations whose work benefits moms.

Dark Horse Sauvignon Blanc, $9.49

The grapes for this California wine were well planned to share a similar vibrancy that popular New Zealand style Sauvignon Blancs are known for, pairing beautifully with a summer salad or dishes with a spicy kick.
