For The Troops held its eighth yearly Military Tribute Gala in honor of Vietnam‐era veterans at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. The gala served Andrew Firestone as emcee and was chaired by Rosemary Allison and Dr. Cristina Markiewicz. For The Troops was founded in 2006 by Paula Cornell and Janie Josephson and is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization. Accordingly, it is devoted to providing members of the American military with “We Care” packages. These contain basic needs, goodies, games and, most of all, a show of support. Correspondingly, its mission statement, “We support them while they protect us,” explains it all. In addition, from co-chair Rosemary Allison, “It is truly an honor to be the chair of this gala and a Medal of Honor Sponsor. I thank all of the supporters for joining me in helping us to bring meaningful tokens of our appreciation to our deployed military personnel.”
Nearby, For The Troops will host its ninth annual Military Tribute Gala on Saturday, February 27, 2021. Save the date to your calendar now to see firsthand the good they do. If you are interested in helping to honor our military by being a sponsor at the gala, please contact Rosemary Allison at 805.479.7653, who will be Gala Chair for the fourth time at this event.
