Join a night of giving and celebration at the Giving New Hope Gala, Silver Anniversary of Hope, hosted by the Children’s Burn Foundation. The organization will be honoring Carol and Doug Mancino with the Silver Celebration of Hope Award for their vision, expertise, and leadership of the Children’s Burn Foundation over the past 25 years. And this year’s Giving New Hope Award honors Peter H. Grossman, MD, FACS, a community leader, brilliant board-certified plastic surgeon, and longtime Children’s Burn Foundation medical partner. Spring Art & Crafts Festival

The 33rd Annual Spring Art & Crafts Festival features more than 100 artists and craftspeople selling a variety of original art and handmade items. Singletrack Stampede Trail Race

Come run along the ancient trails that were guided by Chumash Indians in the 18th century. See why the Las Virgenes Canyon Valley— “a valley with little water and plentiful live oaks”—is not to be missed! 10K, 22K and 42K distances available. 75th Annual Santa Barbara International Orchid Show

The 74th annual Santa Barbara International Orchid Show pays homage to a family of flowering plants that boasts 25,000 species, among which beauty is ubiquitous and uniqueness is commonplace. Songfest is one of Pepperdine’s greatest and most unique traditions, and has been a favorite experience shared by generations of students, alumni and the greater Pepperdine family. This musical variety show features a cast of hundreds and a large pit orchestra. 6th Annual Buellton Wine & Chili Festival

It’s almost wine and chili time in Buellton. The festival, running from 12 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., , will feature tons of chili and samples from over 25 wineries, craft breweries and spirit companies. Bring your friends and family to play some bocce ball, table tennis and cornhole while enjoying this delicious festival. The highlight of the event is the community chili cook-off, open to all local businesses and residents. Try some chili and salsa made by some of the best local chefs and restaurants, all competing to take home prizes. 2020 Chumash Day Powwow and Intertribal Gathering

All are welcome at the 22nd Annual Chumash Day Powwow and Intertribal Gathering. Although Powwows didn’t originate in California, the Chumash and other tribes in the state have gathered to sing, dance, socialize and heal for many generations. Scandanavian Festival

Both days of this festival are filled with music, dancing, food, lectures, demonstration, vendors and activities for young and old alike. The Viking Encampment and Sami Village will once again be present. This event is produced by the Scandinavian American Cultural and Historical Foundation with support from California Lutheran University. TCM Classic Film Festival
Various theatres in Hollywood

Held over four days, the TCM Classic Film Festival is an opportunity for movie lovers from around the world to view classic movies as they were meant to be experienced: on the big screen, in some of the world’s most iconic venues, with the people who made them. Moreover, the TCM Classic Film Festival allows a community of movie fans of all ages to share their love of classic movies  and see films as they are seldom seen today. Price packages vary. Venues include some of the most iconic and storied sites—like the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and the TCL Chinese Theatre—in the history of motion pictures. This family-friendly event gives kids the opportunity to climb into the seat of their favorite truck or vehicle, honk the horn and pose for photos. They will learn about and explore all types of vehicles including emergency, construction, utility, transportation and much more. Celebrating its 31st year, Fiesta Broadway is L.A.’s signature Cinco de Mayo event. It is the largest Cinco de Mayo festival in the country,produced annually by All Access Entertainment, L.A.’s leading cultural event organizer. The festival is held in Downtown Los Angeles along Broadway and the streets around City Hall. There’s an exciting wine and dine event that’s happening at 101 North Eatery & Bar. 101 North has partnered with DAOU Vineyards and Winery to bring something to look forward to soon. The wine and dine event will take place on April 29th  at 6:30 p.m. The restaurant’s Michelin Star Chef, Anthony Alaimo, has created a special five-course tasting menu menu with dishes like charred goat cheese crostino, Atlantic diver scallops and Moroccan spiced lamb saddle to pair with DAOU Vineyard’s renowned varietals, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
